Educational Toy - Flat Stanley Visits California

Flat Stanley is an educational geography toy. And Flat Stanley is also a friend of my niece, Emily. Emily lives in Ohio and I live in California. I was at Emily's house last Thanksgiving; so I was very happy that Emily sent Flat Stanley to visit me. We had so much fun!

We played hide and seek as soon as Flat Stanley arrived. He is so good at it - I never could find him! He played with my dog, Jackson Blue, and my two cats, Tigey and Trouble. He saw a skunk too! It was hiding in my back yard; but no one got sprayed.

Essentially, Flat Stanley is a paper doll that is mailed hither and yon to teach the little ones geography. Wonderful idea and fun too!

Ok then.

Sherwood, Ohio

Emily and Flat Stanley are students at Fairview Elementary School. Fairview Elementary is in Sherwood, Ohio.

Here is a picture of Flat Stanley on the nature trail, looking for coyotes. We did not find any coyotes, but we had fun looking for them.

Emily turned 21 today 10/29/2021! Happy birthday, Emily!

Flat Stanley had lots of fun in California and I had fun with him. We went hiking, rock climbing, and saw redwood trees, the biggest trees in the world.

The weather was warm and we stayed outside as much as possible, just enjoying nature.

This is very far away, almost across the whole country, 2,298 miles. It would take 34 hours to drive this distance, with very short stops.

We played, we laughed, and we had a lot of fun. Flat Stanley really loves California.
