My Sister The Yogini
My Sister Betty
Little Bit Of Tough
My sister Betty, most of her life, weighed 90 pounds. She is only 4 ft., 10 in tall. I taught her to knit a long time ago and she taught me yoga a few years back.
Where we come from, the great Midwest, and Michigan in particular, yoga is looked at with suspicion.
Life is greatly enhanced by yoga. Get high on life! Do yoga! Namaste.
Ok then.
Blue And Purple Flowers In The Garden
The Littlest Yogini
My sister Betty fixed my back with yoga. I had gotten progressively worse. My back was tight and I tried to compensate by not moving. I learned to gently roll on the floor, with my knees tucked up and my arms around the knees. Omg! It worked, my back was realigned with just a couple of variations on the original move.
My sister is the best yoga teacher in the world. I wouldn't lie about a thing like that. Nor would I joke around unduly. I can only say that yoga was life-changing for me, but I digress. My sister Betty is a great yoga teacher and I live to tell the tale.
Ok then.
Four Common Uses For Yoga
1. Restorative
2. Flexibility
3. Stretches
4. Destressing
And beside that, it feels good.
Introduction To Yoga
My Backyard Pear Tree
How Crotchety I Am
Authored by Linda M Hahn
How crotchety I am
when I try to bend,
and that's not all,
I split my pants
and took a great fall.
Now I do yoga,
and move like a dream
mess with me, buddy,
I need to show off.
If you can't bend over to pick up a dime, or your grandchild, maybe you are a candidate for yoga!
